sampling frequency in PCM3003

Started by Unknown December 4, 2003
Hi all,

Has someone ever used a sampling frequency in PCM3003 different from 24kHz or 48kHz?  I mean, how can I provide the PCM3003 with a clock from the DSK?  I have tried to configure the mcbsp1 registers but I have not found the right configuration.

I would appreciate any comments or sample code.

Thanks in advance,

I havent worked with PCM3003. I dont know how what changes you hav to make to PCM 3003. But if u are asking whether we can set DSK to give clock at desired frequency then answer is yes.  for particular McBSP port you can set the appropriate clk division bits in srgr register or by using dsp bios configuration. For more information u may want to refer to SPRU190d section 12.5. Tarang Dadia
