HWI and PRD

Started by Aizezi Abuding February 4, 2004

Hi ! C6x ,
I have been trying to send frame of processed data periodically to
Matlab by using RTDX. Here are some problems I couldn't figure out. I am
using 6711 DSK with PCM3003 daughter card. I have used HWI for data
acquisition and for output of the data. Here what I wanted to do is by
defining a preiodic funtion which is responsible for
for filling the specific buffer ( predefined buffer size) and send this
frame of data to Matlab without affecting the application.

Will it be possible ? I am wondering the priority of the hardware
interrupt. Will it allow other funtions to occur when it is busy handling
data processing.

thanks in advance,
Aziz,

Hi!
Could you make it a bit clear. You mean , to set up ( HWI or SWI)
interrupt for processing periodic function in order to send the frame
based data, am I right? Can I set a HWI again even I am using HWI for data
processing ?
Thanks.
Aziz
