Hello All I'm new to using the TI DSP's and have a Spectrum Digital 6713 DSK. I have a daughter board that has some ADS1626 1.25MHz A/D chips, among other things, that I have set in memory at 0xa000... for CE2. Try as I may I can't get the DSK board buffers between the DSP and the daughter card connectors turned on. I can see the CE2 pin doing the pattern I expect on one side of the LVHT16245 but not at the connector. I have written to the low 2 bits of the DC_REG on the CPLD and also pulled down pin 78 (DC_ARDY) on the connector but can't get the CPLD to turn on the buffers. I would also like to play with the memory timing and have changed what EMIF_CE2 is set to in init_emif() section of the .gel file but no change on timing. I'm sure there are some easy tricks hidden in the docs but I guess I'm getting old. Any of you that made a daughter board has solved my problem so could you please pass on a few pointers to me.
