Dear all, I would like to ask question about DSK6416 interface to PC. In DSK6711, I could using HPI via LPT1 interface to connect to PC. Since the DSK6416 didnt have any LPT1 interface, I cant use LPT1 interface. But I saw that DSK6416 have USB-JTAG emulation. So I would like to know whether the USB-JTAG emulation can be used to communicate between DSK6416 to PC. Communicate here means that PC can load COFF file to DSK6416 and tell the DSK6416 to run program, And also PC can read/write memory in DSK6416 via USB-JTAG interface. If the USB interface can be used to communicate between DSK6416 to PC, where could I find the library for this interface. I have tried to find the driver in Spectrum Digital website. But I just fond SDJTAG driver. But the SDJTAG driver is using for communicate with XDS510 simulator. Since I want to make indenpendent software without XDS510, I need an independent driver to communicate with USB-JTAG interface like HPI driver (dsk6x11.dll) in DSK6711. Thank you Henrry Andrian |

Think about this for a moment. How can that work? Is USB connected to the HPI on the DSK C6416 board? Or is it connected to a JTAG controller? There is a reason you are not finding the drivers etc. that you are looking for. I suggest to closely study the DSK C6416 board's architecture. -Jeff |
