I'm trying to transmit 16-bit values through the "line out",
with a DAC sample rate of 96KHz. The source of the data is MATLAB, and the connection with the DSK is through the RTDX. Therefore, I need the RTDX rate of transfer to be 96000*22KB/Sec. Is this rate possible? what is the maximum rate of transfer? does the actual rate depends on the software used on the host? thanks, offir. |

Is this rate possible? > what is the maximum rate of transfer? does the actual rate depends on > the software used on the host? 1) Which DSK board? 96 kHz sampling rate is too high for DACs on some DSK boards. 2) With DSK C6713 transfer rates are limited by the USB + JTAG controller combination; HPI is not available. Transfer rates will be limited to about 8 to 12 kbyte/sec. 3) With DSK C6711 board transfer rates are as high as 200 kbyte/sec depending on which HPI-interface software used. -Jeff |
