Audio Application @ C6711
Started by ●April 18, 2005
Hello Everybody,
I have some quesitons regarding 'ti/examples/dsk6711/bios/audio' Example
1-On page# 6 of SPRA598: An Audio Example Using DSP/BIOS, It is written
that "As the audio function will just read a frame from DSS_rxPipe and
copy it to a frame in DSS_txPipe. The transmit rate will be the same as
the receive rate: 48 kHz",
IS THIS 48 kHz or 48 KB/s as it is written as TRANSMIT RATE & NOT
SAMPLING RATE...
2-As the input in this example is taken using the onboard codec
TLC320AD535 having sampling rate limited to only 8 kHz, and output to
speakers also flows from the same codec then how is it possible to have
such a good output (I mean there is no difference b/w hearing a rock
song directly from speakers & through DSK)
3-Is it possible that I may take audio input using codec but the
sampling rate isn't changed at all. it remains 44.1
regards,
JY
