Re: Re: Problem with unsupported DSP within DSP-BIOS

Started by Mike Dunn June 10, 2005
I do not currently have a CCS 2.0 setup, but I remember that I added new emulation driver and CSL to support the 6713.  I configured BIOS as a 6711 and modified memory and maybe something else.  For the CSL I used 'CHIP_6713' to get the correct support...  That's all that I can remember.

Hi, mikedunn

I have got your advice, however I am not completely understand. If I using the 6711 BIOS setting, how could I direct the DSP/BIOS to using the C6713csl.lib, as it can't be edit manually, or shall I just using c6711csl.lib plus some modification to the configuration you mentioned?

    Thanks!

If you have the 6713 CSL, you can use the 6711 BIOS setting.  Modify the size of the internal memory to match the 6713 and you should be able to get most things to work.  I seem to remember having to change something to do with interrupt configuration for some of the peripherals...
