Hi guys,
Can you please help me with this project?
I 'm currenrly trying to interface the omnivision 7620 CMOS colour
image sensor with the TI DSP TMS320C6711. I think that I have to built
the I2C intrface to an FPGA or somethink like that ... Does any of you
have any ideas about what should I do?

believe that you can configure one of the McBSPs to interface to
I2C. Refer to the following document for some clues and the C6x McBSP
reference manual. Although the App Note is for a C54x, it is using the
McBSP port that is highly similar to the 6711 McBSP port.

Hi,
you could maybe use a bitbangig I2C on 2 GPIOs

Hi fasmatikos,
Why don't you use DM640 DSP instead of C6711? DM640 DSPs are
meant for these kinds of purposes.

Why don't you use DM640 DSP instead of C6711? DM640 DSPs are
meant for these kinds of purposes.
