using the RS 232 port and SDRAM

hi, I have written a DSP code that accepts data from a file on the PC. However, now i want my code to take data from the SDRAM. The data in the SDRAM will come via the RS 232 port. I dont know much about DSP. Please tell me how i can extract data from the RS 232 port and store it in the SDRAM. Thanking you. Start a New Thread
