we are using the XDS510PP_plus(parallel). recently we are get one small error
and we are using the CCS 2. our emulator is F2812 PP emulator.
can,t intialise target CPU
error 0x00001200/-1145
error during OCS,Target
unrecoverable emulation error
I/O port = 378
Broad name: F2812 PP emulator.
CPU name : CPU_1.

This is more than a small error. There is a serious problem.

This is indication of a major problem - the lack of information makes
it difficult to address.
1. Has the emulator ever worked with your target board or any other board??
2. One possibility is that CCS is configured for the wrong target or
emulator. Run the SD utility 'sdconfig' [I am not 100% sure of the
name as I do not use SD emulators]. This should give some information
about the scan chain integrity [there could be a board problem if an
emulator has never run on it] and the number of devices in the scan
chain.
3. Is there anything other than the 2812 in the scan chain??
4. Do you have the latest SD driver for CCS 2 from their web site??
5. What is the specific version of CCS 2 that you have installed??
6. Do you have any other type of TI DSP target to try?? [EZ-DSP, etc]
