Hi, I bought a XDS510 USB2.0 j-tag emulator from WWW.CSMINGWEI.COM. I wired it
with a TMS470 (ARM7TDMI, inside in a radio, only this I have at my hand). The
CCS V3.3 installed with it working but crashes a lot of time if stepping the
unit in disassembly. Memory read/save does not working.
If I use xdsprobe.exe to test the hardware everything is OK, but I ALWAYS got an
error :
Starting the Counter1 and Counter2 Test.
Event3 pin read back of one failed.
Counter1 carry bit test failed at bit ff.
Event3 pin read back of one failed.
Counter1 carry bit test failed at bit ff.
Event3 pin read back of one failed.
Counter1 carry bit test failed at bit ff.
Event3 pin read back of one failed.
Finished the Counter1 and Counter2 Test.
Is this normal or I have something wrong with my XDS510? Maybe this counters are
related and not present in my target?
Please advise, I want to know that my emulator is working well or not.
