I am having trouble downloading the drivers for Philips web cam PCVC740K for a Linux sysytem. The kernel I am using is 2.4.18-14. I did mount the device and tried installng the drivers from the link http://www.smcc.demon.nl/webcam/ I followed the procedure But that doesnt work. My video settings are not detected.
