Hi, I just wanted to say that it is one PCI card, that has this cable in its end, and this cable connects to a box that has 10 channels (full duplex stereo 24bit 196Khz) and this ONE PCI can connect to 3 more boxes, that sums up to 40 channels with only one PCI card (not 10 cards).

Your 24-bit data might as well be 32-bit as far as transfer speed goes. allowing for (probably not enough) overhead, call the data rate 200 Khz per channel times 40 channels = 8 MHz through the PCI interface. IF everything is done right and IF no other transfers get in the way, you ought to be able to sustain that.
