I hope you have read the book "Rabiner and Juang" Fundamentals of Speech recognition. Try the book by "Bechetti and Ricotti". Explanation in the latter is bad whereas in the former is good. The latter book gives you implemetation details. Enjoy.

There is a cheap indian edition for Rs. 450 available. Check with your book dealer. Search with the John Wiley Catalog. This book discusses a particular design of a speech recognition system. Other good books are from Pearson, check the back of the front cover of Rabiner and Juang's book for the details of those books. The are by Jurafsky and Marting

Hi Jeetu Some really nice people have helped me out though the results are still being checked out but you may better check up with Quateiri's Book its quiet good . Another option you might opt for is use voicebox its freely available on net a matlab code for calculating mfcc is given in it Bye for now Amit Kaul
