Started by multirate April 23, 2006
hi guys,
i am currently working with TMS 6711 processor..in the kit that is
available, we have a plug in for audio, but no separate exclusive plug
for video..what is the procedure that i should follow for sending video
signals?
secondly, what is meant by RTDX?where is it used?

regards

You would need to add some hardware. For video, the 64xx is probably a better option as it supports certain video-specific operations as well as being a lot faster although the 64xx is fixed point.

It's another confusing TI acronym. It is a bidirectional data transfer mechanism between the target and host. It is really only for use in the development phase. It's not very high bandwidth, and certainly not fast enough for real time motion video. Regards, Howard
