Transmit parallel data on DSP C6711 ???

Hello !

I have a big problem with the dsk TMS320C6711. I must implement a MIMO
(multi antenna) system, and I don't know if it's possible to transmit data
in parallel. I should send Inphase and Quadrature part of a signal to 2
antennas. I have also 4 channels. (for example 4 frames of 128 bits)
I think that I must use EDMA or McBSP but I don't know very well DSPs.

I hope that someone can help me !

Hi Nicolas,

we have implemented a 2x2 MIMO system with the dsk TMS320C6713 and we used
the following dataconverter daughterbords:

- DAC : TLV5630 (uses the McBSP)
- ADC : ADS8364 (uses the EMIF)

@Laki Is there any documentation about the MIMO system you have implemented? Apart from the two daughterboards you have used, what other equipment should be used, e.g RF to IF converters and vice versa, power amplifiers, etc? Are the above daughterboards capable of performing all this processing without the need of extra circuits?
