Hi! I was finally able to get a used 6416DSK at a very reasonable price (due to a silent reader of this newsgroup :-), but I can not access the additional RAM memory on the board. The diag tool coming with the CC gives me a mem failure, also are applications not able to run when they need external RAM, so I guess there really is smth. wrong. As the board had been modified to connect a large set of peripherals, maybe I missed something and removed a solder bridge that was not retrofitted, but original? A high resolution photo or scan of the original board (600MHz, REV C) would be helpful to identify missing part, missing bridges, jumpers, Rs... My comparison with the schematics gave no obvious errors, but who knows!? One additional question, is it correct that this board is not supported by the full version CCstudio via the USB emulator, but only when using a true JTAG emulator? Any help is welcome! Thank you very much, and with best regards Ralph.

A 33 ohm resistor was knackered, R48, disconnecting a WE line to RAM. Ralph.
