Echo path models

Hi everybody,
I am new at Echo cancellation and have my final year engineering
project in the field of acoustic echo cancellation. I wantd to know
if there are any general 'echo path' models available that I could
use to test my algorithms and review there performance? I have been
searching over the internet without any luck so I thouhgt i'd post a
message here.

hi anupam!!

u know in an echo delay model there is an delay
and there is an loss.
so give an delay of say 40 samples i.e.5msec and an loss of 6db max.
so u can form an equation now.
not getting ...
here is an samlple....

suppose there is an buffer of 128 samples as an i/p to model.
so output of the model will be..
y(i) = 0.5*x(i-40);
s0 simple.........
i varies from 1 to 128.
now guess why 0.5.....

its an loss yaar!!!!!!!!!!of 6db max.

Look in ITU Recommendation G.168 (2000). There are 7 echo path models
included in the Recommendation. Your library should have the
Recommendation, or can get it for you.
