Hi, i am working on implementing JPEG type image coding using MDCT. I am using a
window size of 16X16 and have tried some windows like rectangular windows,
kaiser based etc but am not able to reconstruct the image perfectly as seen in
the dct. I have read a paper on watermarkin which uses MDCT, where phase
congruency of the original image is used for transform coding but am not sure
about how it works. Can anyone suggests me about MDCT implementation in an
image. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
