Hi, I would be grateful for any helpful comments on this. I am a beginner at using the Comms blockset in Simulink, and have tried just putting a signal through DQPSK modem system, with just AWGN in between. When I stick a BER detector at the end, the result seems to depend on the input power that I feed into the AWGN block (higher BER for higher input signal) , despite keeping the SNR the same value. When I look at the scatter diagram, the noise is understandably increased, but the signal values remain the same (magnitude = 1 on scatter diagram). Can any help to explain this? Thanks, Chris |
