Channel coding using RCPC CHANNEL CODES AND SPIHT IMAGE COMPRESSION IN MATLAB

Hi Everyone

I am trying to work on C and Matlab code for gettin a RCPC code rate
of 1/2 from 1/4 using SPIHT image compression technique. I want help
abt MATLAB. can anyone provide me with a SPIHT codec on matlab ?

Also how can we plot PSNR graphs on matlab?
is there any help box ? or tutorial ?
I am not very good at both so need help.
