I am a new member to this group. I am presently working on Code excited linear
predective coding.I want to impliment this on a 16bit DSP processor.I am new to
DSP processors.Please suggest me which DSP processor is more suitable for this
and please suggest whether ADSP2181 processor is suitable.

Yes, Please check how much memory your CELP code/data consumes. Accordingly,
you can choose the ADSP 218x family of processor. If it fits within the
internal memory of ADSP-2181 you can go ahead with that one.
