The Voice Enhancement Solutions division of NMS Communications is looking for a senior engineer for multimedia gateway project with speech signal processing and/or video processing experience to join the multimedia team. Candidate should be skilled in the area of CELP based speech codecs such as G.723 and GSM-AMR. Knowledge of RTP packetization in speech is also needed. Desirable for candidate to be skilled in video codecs such as MPEG4 simple profile and H.263. Knowledge of RTP packetization of video is also important. Job includes designing signal processing algorithms/codecs that run on TI series DSPs; thus DSP programming skills are important. Candidate will contribute in the area of speech channel and video channel processing in VES multimedia media gateways. Familiarity with H.323 or H.245 protocols is a plus. Telephony background is a plus. Requirements: US citizens and/or perm. residents only BSEE/CS or equivalent with 7+ years of related experience Experience in H.323 or H.245 Protocols Experience in DSP Programming Experience in embedded systems a plus Knowledge of RTP Packetization of video a plus Interested?
