I am working on MELP source code available at http://www.hait.ac.il/staff/commeng/noam_amir/speech/melp/Download/Download.htm for understanding Multi Stage Vector quantization I need paper entitled as "Efficient search and design procedures for robust multi-stage VQ of LPC parameters for 4 kb/s speech coding" I searched NET for it but I was unable to find a free copy. Hi, I have not yet found the paper from LeBlanc but if you just need a short introduction to MSVQ you can take a look at page 44-46 in http://citeseer.nj.nec.com/cache/papers/cs/21376/http:zSzzSzwww-isl.stanford .eduzSzpeoplezSzgrayzSzq.pdf/gray98quantization.pdf which anyway is a good introduction to vector quantization.
