Hi Dear All.

I am doing a project on MELP. I am working on MELP
source code available at

http://www.hait.ac.il/staff/commeng/noam_amir/speech/melp/Download/Download.htm

for understanding Multi Stage Vector quantization I
need paper entitled as

"Efficient search and design procedures for robust
multi-stage VQ of
LPC
parameters for 4 kb/s speech coding"

I searched NET for it but I was unable to find a free
copy.

Can any body send a copy of it for me?

regards

Hi,

I have not yet found the paper from LeBlanc but if you just need a short
introduction to MSVQ you can take a look at page 44-46 in
http://citeseer.nj.nec.com/cache/papers/cs/21376/http:zSzzSzwww-isl.stanford
.eduzSzpeoplezSzgrayzSzq.pdf/gray98quantization.pdf

which anyway is a good introduction to vector quantization.
