Hi all, I remember that Texas Instruments have had a big library with pre-coded words, spoken by a TV-moderator from Dallas Radio located in Dallas/Tx. This was a library of single words and phrases coded n lpc-10 with 8KHz-sample-frequency for the TMS52xx speech-synthesizer family. did anyone have informations about this? Well, it was in the late 80's and the engineering stuff of TI today did not know what happend with this library. BTW: in the 80's customers could order theyr customiced Phrase ROM from TI based on this library, ASFAIR for 10 USD per word. I am very interested in having such data, because I do have lots of TMS5220-chips, but TI told me they do not know anything what happend with all the data. The only thing I could get from Ti was one disk containing 6 sets of VSM's data, most avionics and one for clock. regards Michael -- GMX ProMail (250 MB Mailbox, 50 FreeSMS, Virenschutz, 2,99 EUR/Monat...) jetzt 3 Monate GRATIS + 3x DER SPIEGEL +++ http://www.gmx.net/derspiegel +++ |
