I'm currently working on driver design in Windows CE using OSK5912 development board together with Mistral QVGA LCD module. The driver will map and control the input and output of the GPIO pins. The problem is that I have difficulty in mapping the GPIO registers to the OS. When I tried to map it using the given physical address i.e 0xFFFBE400, the return value is NULL. I believe that GPIO is a...

It has been awhile since I have used the C55 family and I can't remember if they support using the HPI as GPIO if you are not using the HPI. I seem to recall that some of the TI DSPs can do that, but I don't see anything in the docs that says the C5510 is capable of it. Anyone know for sure if the C5510 HPI can be used as GPIO?

Hello, I want to use a GPIO pin on the DM648 for triggering EDMA3 events. I managed to get hardware interrupts from GPIO pins, but triggering EDMA3 events with the same pins as trigger source does not work! Did someone managed to get GPIO triggered EDMA working on DM648 ? Are there known issues ? regards Michael

Hi I am trying to use a GPIO pin as a trigger to switch the DSP operations. The gpio pin input is a pulse toggling betweeen 0 & 1. I want to set the dsp such that it performs certain operations when pulse is 0 & other operations when pulse is 1. I am inserting a part of my code. When the pulse is 0 i want to store the ADC samples in a buffer. I cant figure out what is wrong. The code seems to d...

I have been working with the GPIO as inputs for some time and have had some success with this (GPIO 0,2,8-11,13-15 function as input). I would like to use some of these pins as output and have not had success through either manual configuration or using the CSL config functions. Most of the pins sit high although a few are low (1,3). None alter state when using pinWrite() or Write(). > Proble

Hi I want to figure out the maximum frequency of the GPIO pins of eZdsp f2812. I have read up all the documents but cant figure out what the maximum frequency is. I used TI's gpiotoggle code to figure out what rate i can get. I found that the maximum rate is around 8.8 MHz. Is this correct as per the documentation? Thanks. Best regards Vikram

Hi Expers I am now using the eZdsp board to perform some tasks on the GPIO of TMS320f2812 dsp controller, 150 mhz. PROBLEM SCNENARIO: =================== 1. When i run from JTAG emulator (execute completely in RAM), i am able to control the output timing of GPIO pin very accurately by 6.7ns per NOP operation (1 isntruction). This means i can get the 150 Mhz as state by the. HO...

Hi In 1 of my projects i need to implement 2 filters on input data. The frequency at which the filter is tuned is decided by the input of a GPIO. for example lets say i have to implement 2 low pass filters that could have passband frequencies from (20,40,80,150,600 KHz etc). The Gpio input decides which 2 filters to implement. Can i implement this using the IIR TI C2000 filter library? Essentia...

Hey guys, I'm thinking of making a quick serial interface for the TMS320F2812 ezDSP board with a max232 and the necessary caps. I read somewhere that a 5V signal will blow the chip (SCI is a 5v ttl signal right?). Is this true for all interfaces, or just the GPIO. Thanks for any input!
