Hi, everyone. I am having trouble figuring out how to get a file? to burn into a prom. The ADI books and VisualDSP Help send me around in circles. They often refer to (I guess) the old command line loader switches as if that explains what they do or why one might want to use the option. My program uses the CODEC initialization and basic structure from the Talkthrough example. It is in one .ASM file. No "C" language. One .H file. One coefficient table loaded into a DM variable. I can build and run it with the Emulator. How / what do I have to do to get a file to burn into PROM? ---- From the Projects menu I choose Project Options. Then click the "Load" tab. Format: I figured this one out by looking at the import menu on my prom burner software. In BDMA appending: A file ____ at address _____ A load frame ____ at address ____ What file/s? what type of file/s? How do I know what address/s? idma output: I don't think I need this. User loader file: I don't think I need this either. Select memory brings up PM & DM box. Memory type: RAM only ROM & RAM I have no idea. Offset image: Do I need this?
