Running CCS w/o DSK Attached

Started by fbmy...@ncsu.edu June 9, 2005
Hi,

We're using the c5510 DSK from Spectrum Digital and when we try to run Code Composer without the board attached it gives us and error and refuses to load. Is there a way to change this?

-Frankie

Hi,
If you are getting an error message with options ABORT, RETRY, IGNORE and
CANCEL, try giving IGNORE and you should get the CCS.
Cheers,
Ajith.

Frankie--
In the stricest sense, the CCS that comes along with the DSK was not
intended to be operated without the DSK.This behavior is
intentional. But having said that there are work arounds suggested by
some seasoned hackers here at this group. One of them goes by the name
Jeff Brower. Look for messages sent by him, even if you dont find
direct info on this you would have learnt a lot anyways!

Well, there is an ignore option but it's grayed out! Any ideas?

Frankie--
For being so sporting, I have searched for the relevant thread and
pulled it out for you, so here is it:

It should pretty much solve your problem!
