Hi All, Im trying to boot a slave C6203 from a host C6203, but the documentation seems contradictory. Im wondering if anyone else can make sense of this. According to the chip manual (SPRU190D) the HPIC for the C6x is located at 0x01880000. The example code in the application report (SPRU512), however, sets the HPIC register at address 0x01400000. The manual also states (when writing to HPIC): "On a host write, both halfwords must be identical. The low halfword and the high halfword are actually the same storage locations." Yet, the example code does not do this. The code also show the host's CE1 initialized. Why?! Thanks! Erich _____________________________________________________________ |
