Hello,
I am having great problem with the C6211 dsk as i am not able to even start
with the kit.
i simply want's to take the input from a Function Generator -> i
have already written a program in the CCS for amplifying and one for filtering
it .Then -> i want to view the output on the Oscilloscope.
The main problem is my program is simply in "C" i am not aware of the
modification's and extra commands i have to include in my program while
interfacing the DSK kit with it.
I can even go for any assembly or Mnemonics coding .

(whatever codec you have there on your DSK?) if not - I'd start with that - try to talk to the codec (read a single sample at first) before you "filter anything" ;-) it may be necessary to learn something about the codec-DSP interface - is it serial? parallel? did you figure it out? after all - regardles what other people (TI marketing folks for example ;-) ) may have told you - there is a significant "learning curve" you'll have to go through - that's just the way it is ;-) good luck anyway... from snowy Stuttgart, Germany Wojciech Rewers __________________________________ |
A few suggestions [I assume that your question is regarding performing I/O
operations]:
1. Check the tutorial and example directories of your DSK CCS
installation.
2. Check to see if your installation includes CSL [Chip Support
Library].
If not you may check TI's web site or these archives for CSL or BSL
references.
good luck.

To YAPWDNSE and who it may concern,
It sounds like you are frustrated and need a solution now. I think
that you need to take a breath and think about your problem. To get
someone to assist you, you need to describe your situation in order to receive
assistance. Please answer the following questions if you still need
assistance:
1. Do you have CCS??
2. Do you know where it is installed on your system??
3. Can you select the install directory [defaults to c:\ti] in Windows
Explorer and find directories labeled 'tutorial' and
'examples'??
4. Do you have a different problem - like for some reason you do not have
the directories in question??

BTW, YAPWDNSE stands for "Yet Another Person Who Does Not Sign Their
Email".
