Need help using RTDX

Started by ing. P.J.M. Meurs December 1, 1999
We are trying to use the RTDX interface on the EVM6201 together with
codecomposer studio (NT) 1.0.
There are some examples provided by TI but we need some more information
about how
to call the RTDX-class.

This are the questions we have:
How to use it in Visual C++.
How to initialise the several (two) channels.
How to test the interface.
How to use the Wrapper class

We now implemented  the Wrapper class around the ActiveX object in Visual
C++. See attachment which include the wrapper class.
This wrapper class is build by Visual C++ 6.0 via the type library file.

If anyone has more information about this issue please keep us informed. Thanks in advance,
Patrick

Hi,

Please refer to TI's spra744 and spra591, this might give you some
clues. Hope that will help.

Actually I am using TMS320C6711 DSK with Code composer v1.23. And I
am just wondering would you know how to enable RTDX without Code
Composer?

As I know, we can write Visual C++ COM client for RTDX (but you still
need to enable RTDX in Code Composer, in Tools | RTDX | enable RTDX),
while code composer is the COM server for RTDX.
