edma interrupt

Is there any document\manual which explains how
to generate interrupt from an EDMA controller,any
sample project will be more helpful.Further how can we
generate interrupt from host(arm9)to target processor
DM642.
EDMA channel 0 supports host to DSP interrupt but
i don't know how to use that.
Please refer any manual.
