i am doing my project on dvb-t base band receiver implementation on
tms320c6416,
i am facing problem with viterbi decoding implementation using vcp (viterbi
co-processor) of tms3206416 dsp. i want small help from ur side.
i have configured the vcp(viterbi co-processor) as specified in spru533 and
spru750 and i am trying to see wether vcp is giving correct result.
For this i have done following things..
1. first i have manully calculated the branch matric values (of 7 bit signed
interger values) for a frame length of 93. and is given as an input to vcp.
2. i have configured the vcp and edma as spcecified in spru750d using dsp/bios
csl.
using edma i have created 4 linkes . they r ..1) for input configuration
of vcp. 2) for sending the branch matric values. 3) for getting the decoded out
from vcp. and 4) for reading output parameters.
i have writen only vcp_start() statement in my main function.
but when i run my program, i am not getting any output. wat could be the
problem?
do i need to configure any other thing. and do i need to write any code in my
main function.
pls help me in this regard, i can not move forward with out viterbi
decoding.
