Working at a company that provides some specialized DSP development tools, I have to
agree this is a good question. Most tools providers have an online presence and try
to help users asking questions about their products. It only makes sense as
subsequent users might have the same or similar issues, saving the provider a lot of
time. Adolf Klemenz at D.SignT (dsignt.de) is a great -- and effective -- example.
I searched my Yahoo DSP group archives since 2002 and I didn't find any post by a
Spirit DSP person. Also I searched all of dsprelated.com (that includes comp.dsp)
for spiritdsp.com and didn't see any senders.
There is a third-party / DSP Partner manager at TI named Jennifer Skinner-Gray. You
might write to her and ask how you can get support from Spirit. I would think that
Spirit would assign an FAE to pay daily attention to popular online DSP groups. If
you write to me offline, I can give you Jennifer's e-mail addr. Good luck with this.
