Is there a restriction on OFDM bandwidth for a determined symbol time?

Started by fl October 30, 2015
Hi,

If a frequency bin width is determined, then the symbol time is known.
How many bins are acceptable, i.e. is there a restriction on the bandwidth
of the OFDM symbol?

Thanks,

Adding subcarriers increases N, the FFT size. As long as you can keep up with the processing and have the channel bandwidth available there's nothing stopping you from adding more subcarriers. Eric Jacobsen Anchor Hill Communications http://www.anchorhill.com
