Algorithm Developer Position in Fingerprint Biometrics, Melbourne, FL

AuthenTec, Inc., with headquarters in Melbourne, Florida, is the world
leader in fingerprint sensory security, innovation and sales to the
PC, wireless, and access control markets.  We are seeking a highly-
creative researcher with a solid background in signal/image
processing, and computer vision. The successful candidate will
research and develop state of the art signal/image algorithms for
processing of biometric signals provided by our award-winning
fingerprint sensors. He/She will also be capable of applying his/her
expertise to further develop existing algorithms for matching,
indexing and spoof detection, as well as invent new ones. Involvement
in the design, prototyping, debugging and verification phases of the
algorithm development process is expected.

Required Education/Experience:
=B7	PhD/MS in CS/CE/EE with focus on signal/image processing, and
computer vision.
=B7	Demonstrable research experience/potential.
=B7	Strong fundamentals in signal processing, control theory, and real-
time systems.
=B7	Strong knowledge of object recognition and image registration
systems.
=B7	Experience in development of prototypes using C, C++ and Matlab.
=B7	Excellent oral and written communication skills.
=B7	Relevant industrial experience in research and development is a
plus.
