First see if there is any problem with the ram.  (memtest86 is available for free).  I had the same problem when I upgraded my ram (the store person gave me PC2700 while my existing ram was pc3200; clock speed mismatch and caused out of memory errors with matlab: everything is fine after I replaced pc2700 with pc3200).

Hi

I had similar problem when I was using NN toolbox and I had to change some parameter and get it fixed. So I suggest you play with some of the parameters that you have and see how it would behave.

Hi,

Try using the commands 'pack' and 'save' to free memory by saving the workspace variables to hard disk. Also use 'clear' to free workspace of those variables whose life is over.
