malarial parasite detection using image processing

hello everybody,

Am DIWAKAR ..am trying to detect malarial parasite with given slide
image using image processing toolbox..pls help the with the code using
MATLAb as am new to this area.

pls tell wat r the process to be done..i tried with thresholding
followed by converting to binary...later applying watershed
alghorithm..it doesnt result ..i need to count the no parasite cell and
size of the parasite..anybody worked in this area or any other tumour or
other object detection matlab codes ..pls send to me..

am ready to send the slide images by mail..
