Trying to understand the DUC/DDC in the B210 (specifications link below) . Right now my setup is as such: On the tx side: Master Clock Rate: 1e7 (10mhz) Interpolation: 1 similarly on the rx: Master Clock Rate: 1e7 Decimation: 1 I'm using Matlabs USRP integration. Currently, I'm transmitting OFDM-BPSK (10MHz bandwidth) so I've set my Master clock rate to 10MHz, which is the DAC/ADC rate from my understanding (see second photo below). It has become apparent that I may need to oversample this. If I set my Master Clock Rate to 40MHz do I then set my interpolation factor to 4 so that the DUC output matches my DAC rate? Similarly do I set the decimation factor (DDC) to 4 so my received signal is once again at 10MHz? How do these settings interplay exactly, and what is the benefit of doing so from the receivers standpoint? B210 specs https://www.ettus.com/content/files/b200-b210_spec... away from tool specifics, in general you can and better upsample at DAC to lessen the burden on analogue anti-image filter and to reduce complexity of analogue anti alias filter at ADC and then decimate after ADC .
