Beware, though, that a watchdog reset is not as clean as a powerup reset in= terms of reinitilizing the registers of the DSP. A better solution to cons= ider is tying one of the GPIO pins to the voltage supervior chip such that = pulling that pin low results in a true hardware reset. Cheers, Beat. Hi all, How do I make the Timer and EV compare register values to zero, before halt the processor? I am working in TMS320F2812 eZDSP starter kit. I loaded my program which has some value in CMPR and EV Timer registers in DSP, I wish to bring those values to zero before going to halt the DSP in code composer. How do I achieve that? Will it be possible to send inputs from the key board when the ...

Hello, I am using TMS320F2812 processor along with Code Composer Studio and XDS510USB Emulator. I have got my code running in flash so I have got a restriction of setting of maximum of 2 hardware breakpoints in my code. Hello, I am working on TMS320F2808 DSP controllor Starter kit from Spectrum Digital. I am working on the SPI peripheral. I have configured DSP starter kit as SPI slave and Another master keeps sending some standard data pattern to slave and slave too sends particular data pattern to Master. I wouldlike to know weather the SPI line SPISTE is it Edge triggered or Level triggered. Suppose Master ...

Dear all, First of all, Let me thank this discussion group for being active and accepted me as a member. I am new to DSP . Having following doubts in PWM generation. *1)* If I generate PWM for the same frequency and duty ratio using Event Manager A and Event Manager B and observe the PWMS in scope, I saw that the PWMs using EV B is phase shifted by 284ns from PWMs using EV A. why t...
