Hai, To test and verify the FIR filter Wat r all the test inputs as samples x(n) ....i can apply in addition to the following: Impulse,step,sine,triangular,sawtooth,rectangular pulse,gaussian white noise.. 1.whether the above test generation signals are sufficient?? 2.r still i have to add more??? 3.wat r the other corner test cases?? regards, faz

("fast convolution" ain't so simple.) it's pretty easy to calculate what the largest possible output sample could be, so you can have an idea for how to scale your FIR coefs. r b-j
