Has any one used TEL_AEC bean with 8013? My understanding is that TEL_AEC needs external memory while 8013 does not support. Please inform.

I am trying to use 8013's SPI to send a 16 bits long info to a slave device. I am wondering if I could use SendChar command to do it. My concerns is that a Char is only 8 bits long. Can I use SendChar twice to achieve 16 bits long info? if not, how can I send 16 bits word by using SPI? Please help and thanks in advance.

Under 56F8013AVFE bean, there are two places to specify the clock frequency. One is Oscillator Frequency default at 8MHz and another is System Clock which can be set to 32MHz. I need to get 32MHz MIPS for the calculation and wondering if the 32MHz System Clock is good enough.

Hi, I am new to DSP world and know nothing about the embedded software development so far. I am targeting for DSP56L307 chip. I am wondering if anyone who has the development experience of this chip can give me highlights of the development environment and RTOS that can run best on the chip. Is CodeWarrior compatible with this chip? Do I have to buy a command converter? what kind o...

Hi, I have a couple of questions related to interfacing the SPI module (DSP56858) to a temperature sensor (TMP122: http://focus.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tmp122.pdf ). The TMP122 has a single I/O line whereas the DSP uses two separate lines, MOSI and MISO. Please tell me if this is feasible to use with the DSP: Tying MOSI and MISO together and tri-stating MOSI each time I wanted to r...

Hi everybody, im using the FlexCan Module from 56f8345 Processor and it works under=20 normal conditions fine, but somtimes some ID_low register changes its=20 value(0x5b14) in an unpropper way i.e. it not fit my former=20 Acceptance mask(0xFFEFFE0E) and ID(0x00180124). We can generate the error by transmitting as much messages as=20 possible to the DSP (i.e. we are running at 125kb and se...
