Hi does anyone know how to compute bicoherence of a signal. I need it for nonlinearity check of the system that produce it. there are some MATLAB codes in the web for example in the: http://www.nt.ntnu.no/users/skoge/diplom/diplom06/manum/Quantification/bicoherence.m but I donot know how I should use them. Thank you very much!

Hi guys I have been trying to process my data with FFT to analyze the natural frequency of it. I try to use a high pass filter of 1 or 2 HZ because the source of the signal is a DC and i found that the result is still weird. It is a DC motor attach to a load and run it and will last for approximately 2 sec only. So i would like to ask the best DSP method to analyze this as if i just use FFT ...

Hi Experts, I am a beginner at using matlab and as such have come across a problem that I neither understand nor know how to implement in matlab. I want to plot a gaussian aperodic shape in matlab with an amplitude of 1 and a width of 1, I know that I could use Gausspuls command however I want to plot by using basic programming constraints. Could someone please give a push in t...

Hi Matlab Experts: I'm not an expert and thus I have a question ;-) Let's assume I plot the numbers 1 to 10 on a MATLAB figure. And (for my use), for each number an audio wav file is associated. My question: I wish to click any one of these numbers on the plot, and I want the corresponding audio file to play back. Is it possible? How? I will be grateful if you are able to kindly an...

Hi all,I am working on the WiMax Ped. B channel model. However, I have some problems about it. I hope that someone give me some clues or answers. I am modeling the sounding SNR in WiMax system, and I use the channel model is following: NLOS: ITU Modified Ped.-B, 3kmph, LOS: ITU Modified Ped.-B with K= 5dB, 3kmph. I have understood the model of LOS type that uses the Rician channel in Matlab a...

Hi, I am working on an OFDM system using Matlab. The bits received at the receiver have a constant error ( i.e., avg 200 bits out of 1000 are always wrong).. when I decreased no. of bits in a symbol to let say 49 and FFT length to 64, there was no error. It looks like that there is some error in the computation of IFFT/FFT bolcks by Matlab (maybe some rounding of the data by Matlab). I am unsu...

I have a time signal, and if I calculate time-frequency spectra distribution, I'd like to draw a figure in which x axes is time, y axes ia frequency, like the figure in the attached file. does matlab provide a function to draw this kind of figure. I am looking forward to seeing your answer. yours sincerely chen
