Hello, I ran into an odd conflict with SCI0 and PWMA on the 56F805 and was wondering if anyone knew anything about why it happens or what mistake I'm making? I'm using C (no assembler) in CodeWarrior, internal memory, 56F805 on a NewMicros IsoPod board. I set up SCI0 to be RS-232 9600 8N1 (there's a Maxim driver chip on the IsoPod

I used to use this bit of inline assembly with the DSP56F807: asm(debug); but it doesn't work with my new DSP56F8323. It was handy-- I could conditional compile a whole bunch of important breakpoints and turn them on/off by toggling a #define. Anybody know what's the statement to force a breakpoint in code for the 56F8000/E stuff? Pix

Moin, Has anyone use a serial connection for JTAG/Once like proposed in the manuals (paraccum.pdf/pcium.pdf) with TDO of one DSP connected to TDI of the next one? Manual says it is possible, but I am not sure if CCS or ADS56300 support this configuration. Thanks, Stefan

Hi, I'm an Italian student and I'm new in programming 56F8323 Motorola DSP. Anybody know how to write in the Flash Memory Configuration Field in a 56F8323 DSP? I'd like securing Flash Memory and I read the 6th chapter in the Peripheral User Manual, but I don't understand how to modify SECL_VALUE with "0xE70A" value. Could anybody help me ? T

Hi, The only thing you have to do is to modify your linker command file. In your linker file add those two lines * (.const.data.char) * (.const.data) to section that is mapped to xFlash (Data Flash) so every constant declaration (int, long, or char, etc.) will be put in Data Flash, dont need to put all constant in one file.
