Hi, i should implement image processing on data taken from this sensor camera 1. 1280x1024 monochrome @ 60fps 2. LVDS connection @ 620Mbit/s (10bpp) or @ 496Mbit/s (8bpp) I have no idea about the right DSP....any suggestion?

It was pointed out (more politely than one could have expected) that I miscalculated certain image frequencies. (I folded around the sampling frequency instead of around half of that, arriving at nonsense.) I've been wanting to acknowledge the correction and thank whoever sent it, but it's lost. Does anyone know of a good reference for 2D wavelet pattern recognition? I am trying to match similar shapes using a clustering technique like k-means. My images are of mechanical drawings so the outside boundary alone may not be sufficient for my purpose. Thanks in advance for your help, caveman

Hi all, I have been using the Texas Instruments TMS...2808 DSp for nearly two years now in relation to controlling Power Supplies. However, I am looking to buy a new development bundle which I want to use for my own personal use, but I'm not sure which one to get since I would like to use one to control motors e.t.a. but also have a go at doing some image processing. Can anyone recommend a mul...

For a GUI application, there is a need to take .BMP images and scale them by an arbitrary amount, probably proportionally. I know it can be done with a simple pixel duplicate/skip algorithm, but how easy/hard is it to do this with algorithms such as bi-linear and bi-cubic that you see in Photoshop? One coder here seems to indicate that it is quite difficult, but it doesn't seem too bad to me...

Is anyone here doing anything with VSIPL? I've been working on a VSIPL project for a few months now, looking at developing a commercial implementation. I've been looking mostly at the system design issues and the hardware specifics. I reckoned it was maybe about time to take another look at the motivations and I'm trying to get more of a feel for what's happening with this standard at this ...

Hello group, I'm having some trouble getting my code to work correctly using C++ and libfftw (which is, may I remark, absolutely marvellous). Basically I'm FFTing a picture (real to complex) and then performing and IFFT (just to see if everything works as expected). Well, it does not - I'm having some really stupid problem with which I now spent half a day. Can't figure out what I'm doing ...
