Hi, just checking: -You have made a project which contain several files. -You have compiled this project and loaded into the ezkit. -Then you can only put a breakpoint in "main" files. Have you checked you are compiling for debug and not for release? Are you compiling with debug information? (check Project Options doing right-click on project tree). Just a silly suggestion but that happe...

Hy Everybody, Sorry for starting a new thread for this, but I would have another question in connection with setting breakpoints during emulation. Now I have a hardware makeup, which consists of two TigersharC processors which don't use common memory, and they use link port for communication with each other. I have a project consists of many asm and C source files, and tow main functions s...

Dear Members, I have succesfully built my source code in Visual DSP++ 5.0 in simulation mode. Now I have to test it in emulation mode, and I use an ADSP TS201 EZ-KIT LITE board (two Tigersharc processors are on the board) and I can load my soure code to the board with the HPUSB-ICE Emulator. Now I'd like to insert breakpoints to my code, but it is not allowed.. If I try to insert original break...

hi all.. In my project(a 6 Channel audio device) i'm using three ADAU1701. In preliminary session of project i used separate eeprom for each ADAU. Since each ADAU carry less algorithm i thought to use single eeprom for 3 ADAU and to connect three using i2c mode. I used sigma studio s/w for coding. But here exist some problem.. 1)As per mentioned in Data sheet i connected the address pins o...

Hello everybody, I need to divide fract16 in my LMS algorithm and I use the div_s function in the ADSP-BF533 EZ-KIT Lite, but I have a problem: if the numbers are negative, the result of the division is 0. There is another function to divide fract16? I have thought to use the abs function and then add the negative sign to the numbers, but I think it has to be another easier solution. Than...

Hi everybody, I'm working in a speech project with the ADSP Bf-533 EZ-KIT LITE, and I have some problems with the sample rate. I need to get a slower sample rate in order to avoid aliasing in the input signal. I know that AD1836 only has two options (48Khz and 96Khz). I'm using the Serial Port to read the data and DMA to store the samples. How can I reduce the sample rate to, for example, 18Khz...

I may please be given Knowledge,Why Emulator is necessary in developement of DSP based programme. This question was based on the fact that In-circuit emulators are available along with the ADI processors, which are very expensive. Happy CHRISTMAS! The INTERNET now has a personality. YOURS! Are there any blackfin experts here looking for a challenge ? Over at Eevblog forum we have managed to hack the 50 Mhz DS1052E Rigol scope to the faster 100Mhz DS1102E just by changing the serial number. But on some occasions this has not worked and we need to reprogram the boot flash from a copy that is from a working scope. The problem is nobody there seems to know the blackfin processor ...

I hve a project on my hand. Originally, the project used AT91FR40162(ARM7TDMI) to connect to ADSP-2185's SPORT(DR1, DT1, SCLK1) via 3 pins (RXD1, TXD1, SCK1) operation on synchronous mode of USART. Data Rate = 480K bps. But now, we want to change the MCU to PIC18F8722(PIC). PIC uses 2 pins(CK1, DT1) when it operates on synchronous mode. Problem: 1. How does the PIC(2 pins) connect to the...
